I Found My Ticket!

It’s funny how things happen. I believe that everything happens for a reason–everything.
Early this morning, about 4am, Evansville felt a 5.4 earthquake from about 161 miles away. I woke up on my own just seconds before the earthquake hit. As the house shook and rumbled for about 15 seconds, I thought, "Well, that’s one way to shake things up." I was amused. I took it as a clear and not so subtle hint that I need to shake things up in my practice and implement some projects that I’ve been slowly creating.
So, I’ve been in the flow of creation this morning, and picked up an old journal that is full of ideas. A slippery piece of paper fell out of it, and flotated to my feet. I unfolded it, and realized that it was the NWA boarding pass for my flight home from Martha Beck Life Coach Training. Cool! On the back of it, I had written myself a note, "Rock on, Susan!" Even cooler.
This boarding pass represents my belief that you CAN make a great living doing what inspires you. If you aren’t having fun at work, you haven’t found your ticket yet.
